1. How many devices can connect to a single Wi-Fi hotspot simultaneously?
The number of devices that can connect varies depending on the product. Please refer to the product page for details. Most devices support 5-15 devices simultaneously.
2. How long does the battery life of a Wi-Fi hotspot device last?
Common portable devices typically have a battery life of around 12 hours, depending on battery capacity. It is recommended to carry a power bank or charging device when traveling long distances or sharing with multiple people.
3. What happens when I run out of data?
After you run out of data, please top up your data allowance.
4. How far can a hotspot signal cover?
Typically, the coverage radius is about 5–10 meters. Walls, obstacles, or multiple users simultaneously may affect speed and stability.
5. Does wifi hotspot support encryption and privacy protection?
Supports WPA2/WPA3 encryption. The device itself does not record browsing content. It is recommended to enable password protection to prevent strangers from connecting.
6. Can wifi hotspot be used for video calls or online gaming?
Supports video calls and everyday streaming. Online gaming is latency-sensitive; light use is recommended.
7. Do I need to use a local SIM card?
No. However, some of our devices support using your own SIM card.
8. Do I need to manually set up an APN after going abroad?
If you have purchased a data plan for an overseas country for your device, our device will automatically switch to the local network without any setup.
9. What is the approximate network speed? What are the supported upload/download speeds in Mbps?
4G network download speeds are typically 20–80 Mbps; upload speeds are typically 10–30 Mbps.
5G network download speeds are typically 200–600 Mbps; upload speeds are typically 20–80 Mbps.
10. Will it get hot after prolonged use?
A slight increase in temperature is normal; if it gets too hot, it is recommended to stop using it.
11. Can the WiFi name and password be changed?
Yes, you can change them through the web-based management interface.
12. Can I use the wifi hotspot while charging? Can I charge it with a power bank?
Yes, but it's recommended to avoid using it like this for extended periods, as it may shorten battery life. It supports power supply from regular USB power banks.
13. How can I check my remaining data allowance or expiration date?
You can check it through the device's display page or our management backend (depending on the model).
14. What to do if the signal is poor?
Suggestions: Restart your device; Move to a more open location; Turn the device off and on again to allow it to search for a network again; Check local coverage.
15. What if my device is lost? Does it have a location tracking or locking function?
If your device is lost, please contact us. We can find out the last network address the device connected to. We can also lock the device through our backend management system.
16. Will it automatically connect to the internet immediately after landing at the airport?
Yes, based on our testing in different countries, the device now connects to the network for the first time in a new country in approximately 1-5 minutes.
17. Is the billing time for the data plan calculated based on local time or device activation time?
We calculate it based on the activation time. If you purchased a European data plan, the billing will only be calculated after you arrive in Europe, and the time will be converted to European local time.
18. Can I pause or extend my data plan midway?
Once a data plan is activated, it cannot be paused or extended midway. Please use it within the specified time!
